For the second consecutive year, Université Laval has ranked first on this list, which recognizes 200 companies, universities, and organizations across all sectors that have demonstrated exceptional performance in fostering strong and positive workplace environments.
“This recognition means a lot to us because it comes directly from the people who bring our institution to life every day. In a way, it is the members of our community who are giving themselves this rating, and I sincerely thank them for their commitment. This first-place ranking belongs to them and reflects the deep sense of purpose people find in their work. At Université Laval, we contribute together to a mission that transcends our individual efforts: educating future generations, advancing knowledge, and contributing to the development of society. It is a tremendous source of pride and inspiration,” emphasizes Université Laval Rector Sophie D’Amours.
This year’s recognition also highlights the growing importance given to internal communications at Université Laval. With its 17 faculties and numerous administrative units and teams located across the campus, the institution has focused on ongoing communication to foster cohesion, strengthen understanding of major institutional priorities, and the university community’s participation in achieving them. This approach, which is constantly evolving, helps build an increasingly strong and unifying organizational culture.
“Our staff members, frontline managers, and the entire university community all contribute to making Université Laval a workplace where commitment, collaboration, and initiative are valued. Achieving first place for a second year in a row reflects this collective effort,” added Sophie D’Amours.
